Toula and the entire Portokalos family travel to Greece to fulfill the dying wish of her Windex-loving father, Gus. He wanted the family to visit his childhood village and reconnect with their roots.
Nia Vardalos, who returns as Toula, also wrote and directed the film. It also includes the return of John Corbett as her husband Ian, Lainie Kazan as her mother Maria, and Andrea Martin as her charismatic Aunt Voula.
This sequel takes place in 1956, four years after the events in the first film. Sister Irene travels to a girls boarding school in France to investigate the death of a priest.
She quickly learns that it was Valak (the demonic Nun). Irene must face Valak once again in a battle between good and evil.
Taissa Farmiga and Bonnie Aarons return as Sister Irene and Valak. It also stars Storm Reid from “Missing” and “Euphoria” and Anna Popplewell from “The Chronicles of Narnia”
