1.  “The Equalizer 3“  (R)

Denzel Washington is retired and making a home in Southern Italy.  But when he discovers his new friends are under the control of the Sicilian Mafia, he steps in to do whatever it takes to protect them.

It also stars Dakota Fanning, Italian actor Eugenio Mastrandrea from Zoe Saldana’s Netflix series “From Scratch”, and David Denman, who you might recognize as Roy from “The Office”.

2.  “Zombie Town“  (PG-13)  Trailer  (Limited)

It’s based on the R.L. Stine book of the same name.  Two teens attend the premiere of a new zombie movie on Halloween night.  It’s the first movie in 30 years from a reclusive director played by Dan Akroyd.

Unfortunately, the roll of film turns out to be cursed and causes the town to turn into zombies.  So our heroes must work with the director to save the town and end the curse.  It also stars Chevy Chase.
