Jason Statham returns as rescue diver Jonas Taylor.  When he leads a research team on a deep dive into an ocean trench, a malevolent mining operation threatens their mission.

They’re confronted with prehistoric creatures, including the largest Megalodon they’ve ever seen and a giant octopus.

It also stars martial artist Wu Jing, Page Kennedy from Netflix’s “The Upshaws”, and Spanish actor Sergio Peris-Mencheta from “Rambo: Last Blood”.

2.  “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem“  (PG)  Trailer  (Opened Wednesday)

After years of being sheltered from the human world by Master Splinter, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello set out to be accepted by New Yorkers through their crime fighting skills.

They decide to go after a mysterious crime syndicate with their new human friend April, but run into trouble when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

The voice cast includes Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, Post Malone, Paul Rudd, John Cena, Rose Byrne, and Hannibal Buress.  Seth Rogen serves as a producer and writer, with music by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
