1.  “A Minecraft Movie”  (PG)  Trailer 1 and Trailer 2

Jason Momoa and Jack Black star in a movie version of the video game.  After four strangers are transported into the world of Minecraft, Jack Black shows up to teach them how to work together to survive and harness their own individual creativity.

It’s directed by Jared Hess, the guy who did “Napoleon Dynamite” and “Nacho Libre”.  The rest of the cast includes Emma Myers from “Wednesday” and Danielle Brooks from “Orange Is the New Black”.

2.  “The Friend”  (R)  Trailer

Naomi Watts plays a writer who reluctantly adopts a Great Dane after the death of her friend (Bill Murray), and the two of them slowly learn to cope with their grief together.

3.  “The Luckiest Man in America”  (R)  Trailer

Paul Walter Houser stars in the true story of an ice cream truck driver who charmed his way onto the game show “Press Your Luck” in 1984 and in one episode took them for the biggest payday (at the time) in the history of game shows.

Maisie Williams from “Game of Thrones” is one of the other contestants he’s playing against, David Strathairn is the show’s producer, and Walton Goggins is the host.
