From the producer of “Get Out”, this horror movie is about an Indian-American teenage girl named Sam who rejects her culture to fit in at school. 

When a mythological demonic spirit attaches to her former best friend, she must embrace her heritage in order to get rid of it.

Sam is played by Megan Suri, you might recognize her as Aneesa from Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever”.
