“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” Is Still #1 at the Box Office

For the third straight week, the new “Star Wars” movie “The Rise of Skywalker” won the box office.  It made another $33.7 million . . . bringing its domestic total up to $450.8 million. “The Grudge” made $11.3 million and came in fourth despite horrible reviews . . . and “Frozen 2” made another $11.29 million to become the highest-grossing animated movie of all time.  Here’s this weekend’s Top 10:

 

 

1.  “Star Wars: Episode 9 – The Rise of Skywalker”, $33.7 million.  Up to $450.8 million in its 3rd week.

 

2.  “Jumanji: The Next Level”, $26.5 million.  Up to $236.2 million in its 4th week.

 

3.  “Little Women”, $13.6 million.  Up to $60 million in its 2nd week.

 

4.  NEW:  “The Grudge”, $11.3 million

 

5.  “Frozen 2”, $11.29 million.  Up to $449.9 million in its 7th week.

 

6.  “Spies in Disguise”, $10 million.  Up to $46.7 million in its 2nd week.

 

7.  “Knives Out”, $9 million.  Up to $130.3 million in its 6th week.

 

8.  “Uncut Gems”, $7.8 million.  Up to $36.8 million in its 4th week.

 

9.  “Bombshell”, $4.1 million.  Up to $24.6 million in its 4th week.

 

10.  “Cats”, $2.6 million.  Up to $24.7 million in its 3rd week.
