Pets of the Week 8-9-19

98.9 KISS FM is proud to support the needs of local pets – especially those seeking a new home. That’s why 98.9 Kiss FM have teamed up with Central Oklahoma Humane Society and Hudiburg Subaru Luv2Live Campaign to bring you closer to your new best friend. Each week KISS FM will feature different adoptable pets available through Central Oklahoma Humane Society  and we strongly encourage all potential pet owners to participate.

Pepper: 8 year old, small, female
Ms. Pepper Peppermint is a middle aged pup in search of a forever family! She enjoys spending her days sunbathing by windows and writing her gossip column “The Cat’s Scratch”. Sometimes, a lot of activity can work Ms. Pepper up, and she prefers a calmer environment to help keep her passions at bay (but not so calm that her spunky side is snuffed). Her favorite tv show is the Golden Girls and she loves to have endless discussions about how the show was so forward thinking for its time.
Ever the type A personality, Ms. Pepper Peppermint prefers to meet new people on a schedule and is dusting off her social calendar in preparation of meeting you. Please send your inquires to the adoption center at adoptions@okhumane.org to set up a meeting.
Napoleon: 5 year old, male, munchkin cat

Meet Napoleon! Like the famous French statesman and military leader, Napoleon Bonaparte, he is short in stature but BIG in personality. He is more assertive and direct than some cats so he is not ideal for homes that have young children (under 12 years). Due to his short legs he will have difficulty jumping onto and off of tall objects, so stairs may be beneficial near furniture or other locations to which he might be allowed access. If you’re seeking a cat who isn’t short on personality Napoleon might be the right one for you!
