Check Out All the Trailers That Premiered at Comic-Con

Trailers that debuted at Comic-Con included “Aquaman”, “Shazam”, “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”, “Glass”, and the new season of “The Walking Dead”. Here’s a rundown of all the important trailers that debuted during Comic-Con this weekend . . .

 

Movie Trailers:

DC brought us Aquaman and Shazam . . . plus the streaming series “Titans”, which is a gritty take on DC’s“Teen Titans”(WARNING!!!  The Titans trailer contains profanity.  Specifically, Robin saying, quote, “[Eff] Batman!”)

 

 

 

M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass brings back Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jakcson, and James McAvoy for a sequel to both “Split” and “Unbreakable”.

 

 

 

Jude Law joins the “Harry Potter” universe as the young Albus Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald.

 

The “Godzilla” sequel, King of the Monsters, introduced three classic Godzilla characters:  Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah . . . but sadly, ZERO RUBBER MONSTER SUITS. The cast includes Millie Bobby Brown from “Stranger Things”.

 

 


 

TV Trailers:

The “Walking Dead” trailer makes it obvious that we’re gonna watch these people fail to get their [poop] together for a NINTH season.  (WARNING!!!  This clip contains profanity.) George R.R. Martin’s Nightflyers comes to Syfy in the fall.  It’s a thriller about a ship’s crew that’s attacked while on a mission to retrieve an alien creature in space.

FX unveiled a trailer for the “Sons of Anarchy” spin-off, Mayans M.C.

The setting may have changed, but Matt Groening’s new Netflix series Disenchantment promises humor in the vein of “The Simpsons” and “Futurama”.

Lucasfilm is bringing back The Clone Wars.

Fox is giving Seth MacFarlane’s sci-fi series The Orville a second season.

Someone thought there was enough juice left in The Purge to turn it into a TV series . . . and the USA Network agreed.
